Magellan, or Lewis & Clark and members of their Corps of Discovery,
it’s not too late to find adventure!
The staff at the Lake George Kayak Co., who are drawn from folks who
live, work and play in The Adirondack Park, are all long-standing
members of the outdoor recreation industry. Together they have
over 100 years of experience in managing outdoor adventure programs
and outdoor education. The company was founded to marshal this
experience and create a convenient resource for servicing groups and
individuals in their quest for new adventures, knowledge, and
personal growth.
As full
service outfitters, guides, and experiential educators, we are
committed to providing the highest quality and fun-filled
experience, as you or your group develop valuable life enhancing
skills. Whether indoors or outdoors you will find our programs
stimulating and engaging. These adventures will take you briefly
out of your comfort zone to a place at the edge where you will find
a sense of discovery and accomplishment.

GUIDED TOURS
KAYAKING TOURS
There is no better way to explore the Adirondack
waters and landscape than by kayak. It offers unique vantage points
from which to become better acquainted with the North Country.
Immerse yourself in the elements, relax and realize a
sense of oneness in these glorious surroundings. Kayaking provides
wonderful exercise while offering opportunities for activities as
diverse as sightseeing, exploring, bird watching, photography and
fishing. Kayaking is for all ages, and for all fitness levels.
The experienced staff at Lake George Kayak Co. has
chosen tour routes that will assure a memorable day. At our
boathouse on Lake George we provide proper equipment and paddle
instruction. Tours vary in length of time and destination. Our NYS
licensed staff has extensive knowledge of many bodies of water in the
Adirondack Park and can tailor a tour to meet your interests.
Two hour to full day tours are available. Lunch can
be provided upon request. Kayaks and gear (paddles, life vests, dry
bags) are included in the price of the tour. Group rates are
available.
Half day tour (4
hours) $65. With lunch $75.
Full day tour $125.
Tours

HIKING TOURS
There’s hiking, and then there is hiking with a Lake George Kayak
Co. guide!
Our
experienced NYS licensed guides will lead your group on
imaginative, and fascinating treks through the wilderness
surrounding and overlooking Lake George’s majestic waters. Each
foray can be designed to accommodate all levels, from beginner to
advanced, and will vary in terrain and distance covered. The
emphasis can be on nature, photography, geology, ornithology,
ecology, climbing and hiking skills, or just reveling in the most
astonishingly beautiful landscape on the earth.
Tours
include guides, water and high energy snacks.
For
longer hikes, lunch can be provided at an additional cost.
