At 12' 10.5" this boat gives the feel and glide of a touring boat with the stability and comfort of a recreational kayak. This kayak is a straight tracking boat from its fine bow entry to the nicely finished stern, with plenty of initial stability and a comfortable seating position. A nicely-sized cockpit allows for easy of entry and exit without being so large that the paddler is lost in the boat. Enough storage is provided in the standard water resistant stern hatch and bulkhead for a day on the water while keeping buoyancy for safety. The compact size and low weight of the Manitou make moving or car-topping an easy task.
