The Solstice GT (Grand Touring) is the expedition model of the Solstice line. This kayak incorporates all of the fine characteristics of the Solstice ST in a higher-volume design. It has a flared bow and stern and increased capacity in the deck, giving the paddler a very dry ride. The cockpit is 31" long, affording easy entry and exit, especially for the larger paddler. The GT has a flush, large-access, forward hatch, which simplifies stowing gear in the bow compartment. Recessed deck fittings and perimeter safety lines on the GT are standard features.
The GT is available in a high volume version which will accommodate a larger paddler or suit someone wanting extra carrying capacity. The high volume GT has a 3/4" deeper hull, which simply adds to the overall volume and gives additional space in the cockpit. This model will fit even the largest of paddlers. A wide base seat is standard in the GT High Volume.
